ITINERARY: Hanoi Food and Sights Vespa Tours Led by Women
Asia Motorbike Adventures’ proficient drivers and amiable guides will greet you upon arrival at your hotel. They will provide you with a detailed itinerary and review safety protocols before we embark on our authentic and exceptional expedition in the center of Hanoi. As we journey, we will uncover hidden treasures, such as our initial stop, the impressive Long Bien Bridge.
The Long Bien Bridge is a renowned landmark of Hanoi, constructed by the French in 1903 and designed by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel, who also created the world-renowned Eiffel Tower. The bridge spans across the Red River and has witnessed significant historical events, including the Vietnam War. From the comfort of our motorbikes, we’ll revel in the stunning views of the river and the city skyline.
Leaving the bustling city behind, we’ll venture into the serene countryside to explore Banana Island, a peaceful sanctuary. Riding through picturesque roads, we’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and stunning landscapes.
Upon our arrival at Banana Island, we’ll be warmly greeted by friendly locals who will act as our guides around the island. We’ll learn about traditional farming techniques for growing guava, banana, litchi, and vegetables, and have the opportunity to savor the island’s fresh and healthy produce.
Our journey will lead us through charming narrow lanes until we reach Huu Tiep Lake, a famous site that houses the legendary reunification train track. Navigating through the maze-like alleys, we’ll soak up the vibrant city ambiance. Along the way, we’ll visit a local family and engage in conversation with the owner, a war veteran, who will share his life experiences and provide us with insights into Vietnamese culture and customs.
After indulging in a delicious local lunch, we’ll wrap up our unforgettable Hanoi Motorbike Tour at a renowned Egg coffee cafe that has been serving customers since 1946.
