4 Days Ha Giang Motorcycle Tours With Dirt Bike

Day 1 HA GIANG – QUAN BA HEAVEN GATE – YEN MINH

After breakfast in Ha Giang, we begin the first day of our trip with a ride to the Quyet Tien fair. The market is only open once a week on Saturday mornings and sells colorful clothing, handicrafts, and local delicacies. You will have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking scenery of the most winding slopes here known as Bac Son, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Co Tien Twin Mountain, and Tam Son town along the way.

Before continuing on to Lung Khuy cave, stop for lunch at Quan Ba. This ride’s highlight is that it takes you through peaceful villages of upland people. Bam Dan Village allows you to immerse yourself in the cultural space of the Red Dao people, whereas Lung Tam Village is known for its long-standing brocade weaving tradition. If you want to buy handbags, costumes, or scarves to take home as souvenirs, stop by an adorable shop in Lung Tam.

We continue on an enjoyable off-road ride through the forest and remote mountain villages until we arrive at our homestay in Yen Minh late in the afternoon. Spend the night and have dinner here.

Day 2 YEN MINH – DONG VAN

After breakfast at the homestay, we will travel to Tham Ma pass. Locals used to take horses carrying heavy loads on their backs for a short trip on this pass to test their strength. If a horse retains his power when it reaches the top, he will be raised; otherwise, he will be slaughtered for Thang Co, a traditional hill tribe dish.

Along the way, you’ll stop by Lung Cam, a peaceful White H’mong village, and Pao’s house. This house, which served as the inspiration for the film “Pao’s Story,” has now become one of the must-see destinations on the Dong Van Plateau exploration. It appears to be a miniature painting of the Mong’s daily life, complete with natural beauty and enigmatic charm

Our next stop will be at the King’s Palace. The palace, regarded as a Ha Giang jewel, was constructed entirely of stone, fir wood, and terracotta bricks in the traditional Chinese architectural style. Then we go to the Lung Cu flagpole in Lo Lo ethnic village for lunch.

We continue riding to Dong Van town in the afternoon and check into our hotel. Leave your luggage at the hotel, and our team will take you on a scenic drive to Thien Huong village. This 100-year-old village is about 6 kilometers from Dong Van town and retains the traditional beauty that tourists come to admire. As you travel deeper into the village, you will notice ancient houses with double tile roofs, clay walls, and two compartments.
Before returning to town to relax and refuel for your next adventure, enjoy dinner with corn wine and local specialties.
Day 3 DONG VAN – MA PI LENG PASS – DU GIA
Leaving Dong Van behind, we travel to Ma Pi Leng, one of Vietnam’s four most famous passes in terms of both beauty and danger. Riding through this pass, you will be amazed by the breathtaking scenery of the majestic limestone mountains, the poetic Nho Que river, and the peaceful villages looming in the distance. Conquering Ma Pi Leng Pass will undoubtedly provide you with unforgettable experiences.
After lunch in Meo Vac town, our group continues on to Du Gia. After a long day of riding, it’s time to unwind in the cool water of the waterfall. Check into your homestay and enjoy a delicious dinner featuring regional cuisine.
Day 4 DU GIA – HA GIANG
Today you will take an easy downhill route back to Ha Giang city. On the way, the guide can arrange a visit to Lung Tam, a well-known village for hemp weaving and indigo dyeing for fabric. From here, you can see a local club for some ethnic minority H’Mong women, and they can show you a processional for handcrafted staffs. We will make every effort to ensure that you leave on time.
