Day 1: Ha Giang – Yen Minh – Heaven Gate – Tam Son – Tham Ma pass – H’mong King palace – Dong Van
You’ll meet your guide and rider here at 8:30 a.m. The road takes you up Bac Sum Pass and up Heaven Gate, where you will find some beautiful and tranquil scenery. A great way to start the day. You will undoubtedly encounter the Vietnamese countryside, as well as stunning scenery such as the twin mountains and the small town of Tam Son. You pass through Chin Khoanh Pass on your way to Dong Van. You will see the endless nature and beautiful surroundings of Vietnam on this journey. Dong Van rock plateau is a significant geological heritage landscape in Vietnam.
There are endless rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks, and breathtaking views in the landscape. It also allows you to experience the life of hill tribe villages where locals work the land, which is a great way to get to know the locals and bond with them in their daily lives. Then we’ll go to the Hmong King’s Palace, a Vuong family home in Sa Phin. After a long day of relaxing sightseeing, we’ll head to Dong Van for a local Vietnamese dinner. Relax and unwind. We’ll do even more the next day.
Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que river- Kayaking or Cruise on The River– Meo Vac Town – Du Gia Village
After finishing our morning breakfast, we depart Dong Van for what will be the journey’s high point, the Ma Pi Leng Pass. It is well known for its breathtaking views and is often referred to as the “king” of Vietnam’s passes, with its highest point at an elevation of 2,000 meters. With a view of the entire valley and its breathtaking views of the Nho Que river, and kayaking in the emerald water this will be a memory you’ll never forget.
Then we continue driving through the villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due, and Lung Ho, where lunch will be served and we can sit back, relax, and take in the scenery. In the afternoon, we’ll travel through the epic mountainous terrain to Du Gia rural homestay, where you’ll be right in the middle of green rice fields. Which is relaxing/quiet and ideal after a long day of driving. Then you’ll have a delicious dinner with the locals and drink “Happy Water,
Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong Village – Lung Khuy Cave – Ha Giang City
After breakfast and saying goodbye to homestay, we will continue our journey; our last day still gives you great feelings about nature and landscape; today’s journey will take us back to Ha Giang. But that doesn’t mean the sights are over! We’ll arrive at the famous Lung Kuy cave after a two-hour drive. The cave is approximately 300m long, with numerous stalactites and magnificent shapes that will pique your interest! We’ll stop in Quan Ba town to see Doi Mountain. Some say it resembles fairy breasts! We’ll return to Bac Sum Pass after passing through the Gate of Heaven. We will return to Ha Giang in the afternoon after the adventure trip. It’s time for you to catch the bus back to Hanoi.
