Day 1: Sapa – O Quy Ho – Ban Khoang – Ta Giang Phinh – Ma Tra – Ta Phin
The Sapa Jeep Tour begins at 8:30 AM as our dedicated team collects you from your hotel or our office in the heart of Sapa. This unique adventure takes you through six charming villages, many of which remain untouched by typical tourists, offering an authentic glimpse into rustic and secluded local life.
By 9:00 AM, the convoy sets off along a scenic route passing through O Quy Ho village, a picturesque area rich with verdant tea plantations, thriving vegetable gardens, cacao farms, and vibrant flower fields. A stop at a captivating viewpoint provides the perfect opportunity to capture the breathtaking landscape and observe local farmers tending their land.
At 9:50 AM, arrive at Thac Bac Waterfall, one of the largest and most majestic waterfalls in Sapa, where cascading waters create a mesmerizing spectacle.
By 10:20 AM, the jeep ascends to Tram Ton Pass, also known as the “Heaven Gate,” perched at an altitude of 2200 meters. From this impressive vantage point, enjoy panoramic views of Sapa and the stunning Hoang Lien Son National Park. On clear days, the sweeping scenery reveals deep valleys and rugged mountain terrain, with Tram Ton Pass resembling a colossal gateway rising into the clouds.
At 10:45 AM, continue the journey towards Ban Khoang, Can Ho, and Ta Giang Phinh villages, navigating winding roads that reveal stunning landscapes at every turn. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture as you visit Hmong and Red Dao families, gaining valuable insight into their rich traditions and way of life.
After a delightful lunch, the exploration continues with visits to an old bridge, unique stone formations, and some of the region’s most scenic rice paddies. The afternoon leads to Ma Tra and Ta Phin villages, where the day culminates in a memorable homestay experience with a Red Dao minority family. Guests have the unique opportunity to participate in a cooking class led by their gracious hosts, followed by a dinner featuring the local specialty “happy water,” a traditional brew crafted from rice, wine, and beer.
Day 2: Sapa Jeep Road Trip to Ta Phin – Hang Da – Soi Chua – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Ban Ho – Sapa
After a hearty breakfast, our Sapa Jeep Tour guide leads you deeper into the mountains toward Sau Chua and Hang Da Villages. Along the way, enjoy awe-inspiring vistas of majestic peaks and terraced rice fields, breathing in the crisp mountain air as you explore the valley’s depths.
A climb to the mountain peak rewards you with panoramic views of Sapa Valley, where hidden Hmong and Dzao villages nestle peacefully amid lush greenery. Today’s journey unveils two lesser-known villages that have preserved their age-old traditions and cultural heritage in tranquil surroundings.
Continuing onward, the route takes you to the renowned Muong Hoa Valley, home to five distinct villages and three diverse ethnic minorities: the Day, Dao, and Tay communities. Villages like Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai, Su Pan, and Ban Ho offer insights into the unique customs and lifestyles of these indigenous groups. A delicious lunch is served in Ban Ho village.
After lunch, the return journey meanders through picturesque countryside, passing verdant paddy fields where locals work under the sun. Experience rural life firsthand as chickens and buffaloes cross your path.
